Description:

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Flojet Division of ITT Corp., of Santa Ana, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 500 Flojet duplex II 115 VAC Pumps, a component of the LeBleu Automatic 50 Gallon Bottled Water System. A manufacturing defect can cause consumers to receive an electric shock when the metal housing is touched.

Description: The recall involves Duplex II 115 VAC Pumps sold as a component of the LeBleu Automatic 50 Gallon Bottled Water System. Model numbers included in this recall are D08X000A and D08X000B. A silver Flojet label that includes the model number is affixed to the front of the pump. The pumps are installed exclusively in 50 gallon bottled water that were sold, installed and maintained by LeBleu Corp. or its licensees.

Sold through: LeBlue Corporation directly and through its licensees from June 2004 to November 2006.

Remedy: A representative of the LeBleu Corp. or a trained licensee will inspect all installed pumps to determine if the defect is present, and, if so, the pump will be replaced. All products installed in new home construction, which have not yet been started up will be removed and replaced.
