Recall Details

Description:

Sold under the brand names Architectural Audio and HomeTech, these in-wall volume controls were professionally installed as part of whole house audio systems. The switch plate covers for the recalled systems are white or almond, and "aVc" (amplified volume control) is imprinted above the volume control. They have the following model numbers:

The model number is not visible to the consumer, and consumers are instructed not to remove the keypads from the wall to look for a model number. All serial numbers are included in the recall.

Remedy:

Consumers should turn off and stop using these amplified volume control keypads immediately and contact Dana Innovations to arrange for a free replacement. Dana Innovations distributors are directly contacting consumers with the recalled systems.

Incidents/Injuries:

Dana Innovations has received one report of overheating. There are no reports of injury or property damage.
