Rapala USA Recalls Rechargeable Fillet Knives Due to Fire Hazard

The battery can overheat and catch fire if non-Rapala chargers are used to charge the battery.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled rechargeable fillet knife, remove the battery and look for a white ETL label on the battery.  If the battery does not have a white ETL label, consumers should contact Rapala USA for a free replacement battery and for pre-paid return of the old battery to Rapala for proper disposal.

Scalpa Recalls Scalpa Numb Maximum Strength Topical Anesthetic Cream Due to Failure to Meet Child Resistant Packaging Requirement; Risk of Poisoning (Recall Alert)

The product contains the substance lidocaine which must be in child resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA).  The packaging of the product is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning to young children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Scalpa Numb, store the cream in a safe location out of reach of children and contact Scalpa for a full refund or store credit.  Scalpa is directly notifying all known purchasers about the recall.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled portable wireless chargers.  Contact Belkin for instructions on safe disposal, and for a full refund or credit towards the purchase of another product.

The small plastic pieces inside the toy trumpets can come loose and can be ingested by children, posing a choking hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy away from children, stop using the Confetti Trumpet or the trumpet in the Confetti Music Live Set, dispose of the trumpet and contact Juratoys US for a refund.

Noble House Home Furnishings Recalls Chests, Cabinets and Dressers Due to Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards (Recall Alert)

The recalled chests, cabinets and dressers are unstable and can tip over if not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.  The chests do not comply with the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM F2057-19).

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using any recalled chest, cabinet or dresser that is not properly anchored to the wall and keep it away from children.  Contact Noble House Home Furnishings for instructions to receive a full refund.  The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Some PTO drivelines were assembled without a specified safety sign.  The safety sign explains the associated hazards and that an operator or bystander can become entangled if there is contact with the driveline.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled rotary tillers and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for a free inspection and repair.  John Deere is contacting all known purchasers directly.
