The CPSC’s staff will hold a roundtable discussion on the agency’s Equity Action Plan [https://www.cpsc.gov/equity] created in response to Executive Order 13985 – Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government. CPSC staff invites interested parties to attend and participate in this forum in-person or online. The roundtable discussion will be held in-person and via webinar in the Commission’s main Hearing Room located on the fourth floor of Bethesda Towers, 4330 East West Highway, Bethesda, MD 20814. COVID Protocols Addendum for Public Calendar notice for May 25th Equity Action Plan Roundtable: In response to the change in Montgomery County’s COVID-19 community level from low to medium, employees, visitors, and contractors who are not fully vaccinated or decline to give vaccination status are subject to COVID-19 screening testing for entry at CPSC facilities in Montgomery County, MD effective Monday, May 16, 2022. Visitors must complete a Certificate of Vaccination form: https://www.saferfederalworkforce.gov/downloads/CertificationVaccinationPRAv7.pdf and show the form to the CPSC Security Guard upon entering the Hearing Room. Visitors must keep the form with them during their time on CPSC premises. CPSC will not collect or maintain Certificate of Vaccination forms from visitors. If a visitor is not fully vaccinated or declines to answer whether they are vaccinated, they must present to the CPSC Security Guard proof of a negative COVID-19 test result dated within the previous 3 days. The negative test result must be from a test authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and display a dated result. If, for any reason, a visitor is unable or unwilling to follow these protocols, they will not be permitted to enter the facility. They may attend the Roundtable virtually. Once admitted, visitors are not required to wear a mask or practice physical distancing unless the community level goes from medium to high.
