Scott Ayers (ESEF), and other CPSC staff will participate in a virtual meeting with the UL 1487 Technical Committee Meeting To Discuss Residential Battery Containment Enclosures on 08/04/2026 at 12pm to 3pm (ET). This meeting was requested by UL 1487 Technical Committee.
The TC is considering developing requirements for battery containment enclosures for residential use.
