Meeting with CETA
Greg Reyes (EXC), and other CPSC staff will participate in a virtual meeting with CETA on 05/20/2026 at 2 PM (ET). This meeting was requested by CETA and is open to the public. Topics for discussion include:
- Supporting enforcement efforts to ensure that all electric pressure washers sold in the U.S. market meet applicable safety standards.
- Providing technical expertise and industry guidance related to CETA CPC 100, UL 1776, and NEC requirements.
- Assisting in educational outreach to manufacturers, importers, and online retailers regarding their compliance obligations and best practices.
- Promoting greater awareness among consumers about the importance of purchasing compliant and properly certified equipment.
