NFPA 800 Task Group on Battery Installation and Operation
Chen-hsiang Su (ESEF), and other CPSC staff will participate in a virtual meeting with the NFPA 800 Task Group on Battery Installation and Operation from 08/29/2025, 09/05/2025, 09/26/2025, 10/03/2025, 10/13/2025 at 2:00 PM (ET) to 4:00 PM (ET); and 09/15/2025, 09/29/2025 at 3:00 PM (ET) to 5:00 PM (ET). This meeting was requested by NFPA.
These meetings are to develop draft Chapter 8 on Battery Installation and Operation for a new standard, NFPA 800, the Battery Safety Code.
