ASTM F15.53 and F15.55 Non-Integral Firearms Locking Devices and Youth Resistant Firearms Containers Subcommittees
Matthew Brookman (LSM), and other CPSC staff will be participating in a virtual meeting with the ASTM F15.53 Non-Integral Firearms Locking Devices and ASTM F15.55 Youth Resistant Firearms Containers Subcommittees from 04/14/2025 at 1:00 PM to 04/14/2025 at 2:00 PM (ET). This meeting was requested by ASTM.
The subcommittees will discuss proposed updates to the language for digital locking device requirements in ASTM F2369 and F2456, expanding the scope of ASTM F2456, and changes to the impact testing requirements in ASTM F 2456.
