Scott Ayers attending meeting on non-conventional fire extinguishing products
Scott Ayers of the directorate for engineering sciences will participate in a meeting to discuss voluntary standards and non-conventional fire extinguishing products. The meeting is expected to discuss aerosol fire extinguishers, fireball extinguishers, fire blankets, and other fire extinguishing devices currently not covered by UL 711. Underwriters Laboratories will host the meeting. It is unclear if a virtual or call-in option will be available.
