Doug Lee and other Office of Hazard Identification and Reduction staff participating in National Electrical Code (NEC-National Fire Protection Association 70) Code Making Panel (CMP) 2 task group virtual meetings to discuss public comments on the first draft for the 2026 revision of the NEC. This task group will cover Article 210 Branch Circuits, including ground-fault circuit interrupters and other fire and shock safety requirements: 2pm-4:00pm Eastern. The virtual meeting was requested by Tom Domitrovich, CMP 2 Task Group 1 Chair and additional meetings will be scheduled at the next meeting.
