Treye Thomas, Stephen Harsanyi, and other CPSC staff will be participating in a series of weekly task group meetings of the standard technical panel (STP) for UL 8400 (Standard for Safety for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality Technology Equipment). The task group meeting will discuss plans and approaches to update specific sections of the recently approved first edition of the UL 8400 standard. The meetings will be held on Wednesdays from 11 am to 1:00 pm, ET and will alternate between task groups. The meeting series was requested by UL.
