Richard Uhl of the Office of Hazard Identification and Reduction, and other CPSC staff, will participate in an ASTM F15.81 subcommittee meeting for PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in consumer products on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET. This virtual meeting will discuss the balloting results on the proposed standard guide for evaluating PFAS in consumer products. The meeting will also address the comments and suggested edits made to this proposed guide by subcommittee members. This meeting was requested by ASTM.
