The CPSC’s Consumer Ombudsman, Jonathan Midgett, PhD, Office of the Executive Director, will participate in ANSI’s virtual meeting for consumers who are interested in participating in the development of voluntary consensus standards on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET. Discussion topics will include the basic procedures involved in standards development, the need for consumer participants, and ways for consumers to get involved.
