Andrew Newens and Caroleene Paul, Directorate for Engineering Sciences, will attend a meeting with the ASTM F15.79 Beach Umbrellas Task Group at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) testing facility in Rockville, MD. This meeting was requested by ASTM to discuss the creation of a new standard test method for the strength and durability of consumer beach umbrellas.
