Kristen Talcott of Engineering Sciences and other CPSC staff are participating virtually in a meeting with the ASTM F15.42 (Furniture) Task Group on testing involving units with interlocking drawers for the clothing storage units voluntary standard (ASTM F2057). The meeting will include discussion of negatives from Item 4 on the F15(21-08) ballot related to adding requirements for assessing interlock effectiveness, and modified stability tests for units with interlocks. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 11:00am to 12:00pm EST. This meeting was requested by ASTM. For additional information, contact Kristen Talcott, ktalcott@cpsc.gov.
