Kristen Talcott and Priscilla Verdino are Participating in a Meeting with ASTM F15.42 Furniture Safety
Kristen Talcott of Engineering Sciences, Priscilla Verdino of Laboratory Sciences, and other CPSC staff are participating virtually in a meeting with the ASTM F15.42 Furniture Safety Subcommittee on items related to the standards for Clothing Storage Units (ASTM F2057), Clothing Storage Chests (ASTM F2598), and Tip Restraints (ASTM F3096). The meeting will include discussion of proposed new stability requirements for clothing storage units (tip over), ballot items, task group updates, and a new task group proposal on storage ottomans. The meeting will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, November 17-18, 2021, from 8:00am to 4:00pm EST. This meeting was requested by ASTM.
