Organohalogen Flame Retardants Petition; Oral Presentations
The Consumer Product Safety Commissiion will hear from interested persons their oral comments on the petition requesting that the Commission initiate rulemaking under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) to declare several categories of products contaiing additive organohalogen flame retardants to be "banned hazardous substances."
The hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m. as noted in the Federal Register which was published on August 7, 2017. The hearing will be held at CPSC Headquarters, 4330 East West Highway, Hearing Room 420, Bethesda, MD 20814.
