CPSC staff, in cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), UL Standards, and the International Federation of Inspection Agencies, will conduct a training seminar for lithium-ion battery manufacturers, product developers, and designers in Shenzhen, China.  CPSC’s  Douglas Lee, Battery Project Manager; Steve Williams, China Program Manager;  Jake Miller, Embassy Beijing Product Safety Attaché; and Lily Li, Regional Product Safety Specialist, will represent the CPSC at the one-day, free international seminar focusing on the safe application of lithium-ion batteries in consumer products.  The seminar will take place at the J.W.
