CPSC Staff Webinar on Testing and Certification Requirements for Special Packaging
The Poison Prevention Packaging Act PPA requires special child-resistant and senior friendly packaging for certain substances. In addition, manufacturers, importers, packagers and repackagers of substances regulated under the PPPA must certify the packaging of these substances complies with the special packaging performance specifications of the PPPA. As part of the CPSC’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all importers, manufacturers, packagers, repackagers, and retailers are complying with the regulations under the PPPA, staff from the Office of Compliance and Field Operations and the Office of the General Counsel will present a live webinar on the special packaging and certification requirements for products offered for sale to consumers.
