Chairman Elliot F. Kaye and members of his staff are meeting with representatives from the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI): Russell Kendzior and Dr. Howard Harris, Chairman of the ANSI B101 Committee, to discuss NFSI’s petition before the Agency to mandate the use of the ANSI/NFSI 8101.5 Standard. The issue is labeling for flooring that would identify the traction of floor coverings, floor coverings with coatings, and treated floor coverings; 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Bethesda Towers, room 724.
