ASTM F 963-11 Requirements

When you certify in a written Children’s Product Certificate that a product meets ASTM F 963-11, you must include the specific sections to which you are certifying compliance.

 

Also, toys may be subject to regulations enacted under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA), such as requirements for small parts, pacifiers, rattles, etc., many of which are cited below.  Check our list of products requiring third-party testing and regulated products to ensure that you are in compliance with all applicable regulations.

 

Group 1: Sections Applicable to Most Toys


As mentioned above, the following requirements must be met for most toys. All toy manufacturers should review these sections to ensure that their products are in compliance.
